Hi George and Merima,

I was cleaning out my closet the other day and I came across a book my dad put together. "Moonshadow, the final 6 months of George's 16.5 year circumnavigation of the world!" I thumbed through it and realized I never fully understood how phenomenal this really was. I decided to look up the web site to see if it was still up and sure enough, here I am! I scrolled through the web site and I have to say, this is simply amazing, I never fully understood it during my younger years but now I can really see it. Even though it's a bit late, I'd like to congratulate you two and the crew for finishing the journey and congratulate you on finding a buyer for the boat! Hopefully Moonshadow, as well as all of you, have many more years filled with many more adventures.

Best wishes from the states,
Nick, Nick, and Katrina.

Hello George and Merima

Congratulations on selling Moonshadow.

My wife Gayle and I have been following your journey for quite some time. We actually left Los Angeles in 2005 and last year arrived in Greece spending 6 months cruising the Greek islands. We ae now in Turkey cruising Turkey for the season.

Somewhere along the way we managed to get some of your Maxsea tracks, not sure how we came by them, but they have been very helpful.

We were wondering if your tracks are available? We plan to head up to Croatia next season and it is always nice to have some additional info as we make our way, and your information has been wonderful.

We know Deerfoot very well as I was friends with (Skip) Steve Dashew as we used to sail cats together.

Sorry to see Moonshadow go, but glad you have happy new owners.

We have an Irwin 54, sv Lazy Bones and live in Los Angeles during the winter season while in the Med.

Hope to hear from you and good luck in your next adventure.

Hello,
Congratulations to the new owners of Moonshadow!
Ive been watching this lovely boat for some time now, both with the agent and on the internet.
I would have loved to purchase this yacht in a few months - bad timing. However, Im glad someone else realised what she had to offer. Shame they beat me to it!
I will still show her photos to my friends.
Safe travels everyone...
Regards
